Snow Day = Cookies

On February 20th 2020 the weather called for Snow. My Mother and I decided to stay home. I decided to sew a little bit and came up with a new pattern for my doll, but that story is for another time. Later in the afternoon, I decided to bake homemade chocolate chip cookies. As the cookies were baking we could see the snow get thicker and the ground was getting whiter. By the time the cookies were done the ground was covered in snow. I swear there is nothing like the taste of a warm homemade cookie on a cold snowy day.
